he Tomb of the Reliefs of Cerveteri is a very impressive
tomb which is located in the necropolis of Banditaccia and is open to
Its construction dates back to the Hellenistic period (IV - III century BC)
and consist of a single large room with several benches for burial and two
massive columns saved in the tuff.
The tomb is named after the very special decorations made of painted reliefs.

The stucco walls are present on all domestic objects and animals, especially
on the left pillar, hung with nails strong, they are reproduced in a
realistic way an ax, a coiled rope, a mouthpiece and a cup which together
have enabled the
dating of the tomb. The objects depicted on the right side of the niche are
predominantly female: a fan, some necklaces and a walking stick. On the right wall of the tomb shows a cabinet with a
lock on which are placed two carefully folded cloth; column depicts a
pitcher and a cup.
